• Accounting 1

    Accounting 1 is a course designed to help students attain knowledge and develop skills in keeping records for the management of individual and commercial business affairs. Program goals will include accounting as it relates to careers, accounting terminology, and understanding accounting principles and procedures. This course is highly recommended for anyone interested in majoring in business in college. Students will receive hands-on experience with the computer and will work various business-related problems that demonstrate the problem-solving capabilities of a spreadsheet and a computerized general ledger. Students may be required to purchase additional supplies.
