Cottonwood Elementary PBIS

Teacher Resources Cash & Carry Store Behavior Expectations
What is PBIS?

Positive Behavior Support is a proactive, preventative, whole-school approach to promoting a positive behavior climate at Cottonwood Elementary School.   School staff  have identified specific behaviors that should be taught and reinforced throughout the school day. Specific lessons are currently being designed to teach the Cottonwood students those expectations.  Students are reinforced with Coyote Cash when they are observed demonstrating those appropriate behaviors.  One time per month, the students are invited to make purchases at the Cash and Carry Store.  The overriding goal of PBS is an enhanced quality of life for individuals and their support providers in home, school, and community settings.
