The 2019-20 school year is upon us!  We are excited that you will be joining us this year as we embark on a new year of learning and growing!

Meadowlark Ridge is a K-5 building with dedicated teachers working to make a difference for children each and every day!  Meadowlark Ridge utilizes Positive Behavior Support (PBS) as a means to empower students to understand what responsible choices are. Meadowlark Ridge students utilize ten life skills on a daily basis as a result. Our teachers and guidance counselor focus on a different life skill each month so that students can understand and practice what each one looks like, sounds like, and feels like through modeling and role play. Our school wide focus on "making a difference" is at the center of this instruction. We encourage students to do their personal best and these ten lifeskills are part of our common vocabulary as we try to incorporate them into all of our actions and choices daily. Students and staff come together as a family to celebrate our use of the lifeskills each month with Friday Fanfare. We gather in the school gym to sing songs, celebrate, and recognize those that have made a difference.

Meadowlark Ridge strives to meet high standards of excellence.  We focus on student performance and set instructional goals to help all students achieve at their highest levesl.  Teachers collaborate weekly and utilize the Professional Learning Community model to ensure that we get the very best from each other.  Our emphasis on cooperative learning, problem solving, integrating technology, incorporating a multi-tier system of support (MTSS), and utilizing the Literacy First model in our daily instruction keeps our students engaged and learning every day.

Our school is very successful because of the students, teachers, and parent involvement.  We hope that you take time to join us in the near future as we take flight at Meadowlark Ridge!
