Welcome to Heusner's website!
To prospective families we hope that you will come and visit our school, and to parents we hope the information is helpful. Since this website is simply an introduction to the Heusner learning community, we want to invite you to make a personal visit to Heusner and see our school in action.
Heusner Elementary is located at 1300 Norton Street in Salina, Kansas. It serves 425 students, Kindergarten through 5th grade.

Business Partner - Sunrise Presbyterian Church
Sunrise Presbyterian Church is making a difference at Heusner! Members of the church have signed up to volunteer at Heusner. They are tutoring students, helping to run the Heusner Pride Market, listening to students read, shelving books in the library, and so much more. During the summer, this church funds Project Castle, a summer program to support Heusner students during the day with enriching activities. This summer program is provided with no cost to families. The Sunrise Presbyterian Church is also Heusner’s evacuation site in case we would need to evacuate the school for any reason. We appreciate their generosity and willingness to give of their time!
