  • Keep Hydrated!

During these hot times of the year, it is very important to keep hydrated. The body uses the water you drink to regulate your body temperature, remove wastes from your body, and lubricate the joints in your body. Some of the symptoms of being dehydrated include dry mouth, fatigue, extreme thirst, headache, confusion, dizziness, and no tears when crying. And remember, water is one of the best things you can drink when playing outside. Steer away from pops and other sugary drinks.

  • Wear Sunscreen!

Make sure to get sunscreen on your students this summer. Sunburns are not only painful, but can cause serious and sometimes irreversible damage to the skin. Keep them happy and healthy through these hot summer months.
