tutoring, re-teaching and extension opportunities at
Lakewood. These are for students who would benefit
from extra time and support in the areas of math,
reading, and homework. Students will have the
opportunity to work in a small group setting with
teachers and on computers.
StangTime
is
available Monday-Friday beginning at 6:45 am until
7:30 am as a
come-and-go service as
needed.
After School Math/Reading
is
offered Monday-Thursday from 2:35 pm-3:20 pm. If
you feel your child would benefit from either of
these services, please complete and return the
section below to your child’s math teacher.

Understanding the role of LMS Instructional Coaches
-
“Called by many different titles, teacher leaders in
this role are primarily school-based professional
development specialists who work with individuals
and teams to design and facilitate appropriate
learning experiences, provide feedback and support,
and assist with implementation challenges. Their
work centers on refining and honing teaching, and
their indicator of success is student
learning. “ Jim Knight
