    The USD 305 Maintenance and Operations Department is responsible to provide safe, healthy and attractive learning environments for our students, staff and patrons at all of our pre-kindergarten through post-high school facilities, including various support programs. This department encompasses efficient and effective operations of the district’s maintenance shop, warehouse, inter-school mail system (PONY), copy center, building-level custodial programs as well as student transportation in partnership with Durham School Services. The operations department is responsible for management of capital improvement projects, major equipment purchases, technology initiatives and district fleet vehicle replacement as provided for in the 5-year plans approved annually by the Board of Education.
