Located downtown are the Smoky Hill Museum, The Stiefel Theatre for the Performing Arts (home of the Salina Symphony and Salina Youth Symphony), Theatre Salina, SculptureTour Salina and numerous other artistic treasures.

Downtown Salina has undergone a stunning transformation, recently completing an Art Deco-inspired, pedestrian-friendly streetscape. Here, you can enjoy a stroll through plazas adorned with planters, benches, outdoor dining areas, and public art. The vibrant light installations, retail shops, and dining establishments make the downtown area a must-visit destination.
The Salina Kanva Project commissions world-class murals and street art including the Mural at the Mill, a large-scale mural on the HD Lee Flour Mill. And, the Smoky Hill River Restoration project includes plans to restore the river’s base flow and create a river walk near downtown.
