The board of education approved the fundraising activity for South Middle School as per Policy JHA-Fundraising Activities.
Gift Request
The board of education approved the gift of hand sanitizer from Dillon’s Food Store in the amount of $15,584.

Superintendent’s Report
Linn Exline, superintendent of schools, was joined by Lisa Peters, executive director of business, to meet with Kansas State Department of Education (KSDE) officials to review the district budget. She reported that Salina Public Schools hosted the KSDE Kansans Can tour meeting and that she welcomed new teachers at the new teacher orientation. Superintended Exline welcomed preschool teachers at Heartland where they discussed early childhood programming.
