Keely has earned a stellar reputation as an employee who quickly returns emails and phone calls in a professional and polite manner. A co-worker commented, “Keely has consistently answered all my questions regarding Frontline – and done it quickly.” Thank you, Keely, for making a difference!

Kyle Griffitts, Principal

Cottonwood Elementary School

When an elementary student had an elevated temperature and was waiting to go home, distress was evident with tears and crying by the overwhelmed student. Mr. Griffitts sat down beside the student and held the students’ hand until a parent arrived. His caring and concern for Cottonwood students speaks volumes. Thank you, Mr. Griffitts, for making a difference!

Another partnership involves advancing the conversation about equity in Salina. She reported that USD 305’s work with the Equity Council will be featured at an upcoming KASB conference. Superintendent Exline shared that the gating criteria has been updated and the district continues to monitor COVID-19 numbers in the community and its schools. She reported that the district’s safety measures are working, with very minimal transmission in classrooms. The gating criteria level was moved to orange because of the increase in community numbers.
