School Meal Program

• All students can receive a healthy breakfast and lunch each school day.
• Students have the opportunity to select which foods they will eat.
• At breakfast, at least four food items from the three required food components (fruit, grains, 
• milk) are offered. Students must select a minimum of three items, one of which must be a 1/2 cup of fruit.
• At lunch, five food components (fruit, vegetable, grains, meat/meat alternate, milk) are 
• offered. Students must select a minimum of three components, one of which must be at least a 1/2 cup of fruit or vegetable.

• Payment for school meals should be paid in advance.
• Payments can be made online through Skyward Family Access Portal (credit card, debit card, or eCheck) or at your school office or district office (credit card, check, cash)

Balance notifications will be sent by email weekly throughout the school year for both positive and negative student account balances.

• Students will be assigned one new meal card with their barcode which is required to be scanned at the time of meal service for breakfast and lunch.
• Cards from previous years can also be used as a back-up. Alternative scanning options — Student IDs (HS and MS). 
• There will be a $1.00 fee added to the student’s account for a replacement card if lost or damaged.

• À la carte items are separately priced items from breakfast or lunch meals.
• The purchase of á la carte items will be on a cash only basis.
• À la carte prices range from $0.50 to $3.00.
