  • 23 Kansas Master Teachers
  • Four senior graduated with HS Diploma and associate degress in 2023
  • Strong career-technical education program. The total career-technical education credits increased by 86% between 2016 and 2021, and the number of our graduates earning 3+ credits in an approved pathway increased by 251% from 2017 to 2021
  • K-State Polytechnic Campus partnership, the PolyCATS Academy, allows select Salina Public Schools students to earn industry-recognized credentials and college credit while still in high school. In the first year, South and Central High School students took 22 different PolyCATS Academy courses, earning 264 credit hours and saving $45,000 in tuition costs
  • High school athletic programs for girls and boys with league and state recognition
  • Award-winning band, vocal, and theater programs. Students perform in the community, including the Smoky Hill River Festival
  • District food drive collected 11,855 boxes of macaroni and cheese to help hungry families in need
