A new, virtual K-12 program has opened at USD 305 for school year 2021-2022. Knowing that all students learn differently, the district offers two learning options for USD 305 students, on-site learning and virtual learning.
Students have opportunities for live interactions with teachers, counseling support and regular communications. Parents and guardians’ roles involve support and guidance for their students. The program was created to address the interest in online learning which surfaced during the COVID-19 pandemic. Some students found success in a flexible, virtual classroom and wish to continue this style of learning. Some families prefer virtual learning in light of the global pandemic.
