Infant Child Development (ICD) – Zero to Three years of age
Infant Child Development serves children with developmental delays and disabilities in Ottawa, Ellsworth and Saline Counties. ICD is part of the statewide system of Kansas Early Childhood Developmental Services that provide FREE services to children from birth to 36-months old. They are a team of early childhood professionals with extensive expertise and experience in working with children birth to three years of age. They partner with families to ensure children have positive social relationships, acquire and use knowledge and skills, and take appropriate action to meet their needs.

Central Kansas Cooperative in Education (CKCIE) – Three to twenty-one years of age
Central Kansas Cooperation in Education provides education services for twelve school districts in Central Kansas. It provides specialized instruction to identified special education students with diverse learning needs and abilities. This is accomplished through partnership and collaboration with families and general education by providing a continuum of services in the least restrictive environment. Services for three year olds with an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) are provided in the home, childcare centers, public and private preschools and other options. (Children must be three years old by August 31 of the current school year to attend a preschool in Salina Public Schools) Your child’s IEP team can help you determine the best fit for your child’s needs.

Supports for parents with a child who has disabilities
Partners In Early Childhood Education/Interagency Coordinating Council (PIECE/ICC) promotes community collaboration for high-quality childhood programs by networking area resources and streamlining services. These programs will support accessible services, health, safety, and education of children and families birth to five years of age in Saline, Ottawa, and Ellsworth counties.
