High School Summer School
Students Will Receive:
2025 Salina Public Schools will offer enrichment courses and credit recovery opportunities for current USD 305students entering grades 10th - 12th, with the exception of driver education*. All credit recovery courses are offered through computer-assisted instruction and will be located at Central High School.
Students are required to attend each day of the session. A morning and afternoon block allows for enrollment in two courses. If students accelerate through these courses, additional courses could be added as needed.
Breakfast and lunch are available on site at no charge. Breakfast is served 7:45 to 8:00 a.m. and lunch is served 11:00 to 11:20 a.m. Bussing is available.
Credit Recovery Courses:
From June 2 to July 2, the courses listed below will be offered for credit recovery at no cost at these times:8:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. and/or 11:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. There will be no school on June 19.

- Earth Space Science
- Physical Science
- Social Studies (SS) 1
- World History/SS 2
- American History/SS 3

- 8:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. or
- 11:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
- In addition to class time, individual driving times will be scheduled with an instructor from June 2 - July 2 to meet driving criteria.
*Students entering 9th grade must be 14 years of age by June 2, 2025 to register.
