Celebrating Brenda’s Impact on Education and Our Community
Brenda McDaniel, who dedicated 31 years to inspiring students at Salina Public Schools, has been named a 2025 inductee into the Kansas Teachers’ Hall of Fame. Known for her professionalism and commitment to teaching seventh and eighth grade social studies, Brenda emphasized that learning is for everyone. She made sure her students knew what they were learning, why they were learning it and how to learn it. “The ‘how’ part can be the hardest part for students,” explained Ms. McDaniel. “It is important that teachers give them research-based strategies to use.” Join us in celebrating Brenda’s well-deserved recognition that honors her legacy and her lasting impact on the Salina community. Congratulations, Brenda!
