We are proud to announce that Central High School Principal, Dr. Matthew Brungardt, has been honored as the Kansas Thespians Administrator of the Year! This prestigious recognition celebrates his support and commitment to theatre educators and programs, which have strengthened the CHS Theatre department’s reputation across Kansas.

Under Dr. Brungardt’s leadership and in partnership with CHS Theatre Director Barbara Hilt, accomplishments include:

• Hosting the Kansas Thespian Kick-Off twice
• Supporting Barbara Hilt’s four years of service as Chapter Director
• Showcasing the CHS Theatre program and improving theatre spaces
