Congratulations to Elizabeth Burke, South HS library media specialist, named Salina Public Schools 2025 Master Teacher. She has taught for 18 years at South High School, starting in social studies for a decade before transitioning to the library in 2017. She creates an inclusive, engaging experience that fosters a love of learning that extends far beyond the library walls. Elizabeth was awarded the Jett Excellence Award from the Salina Education Foundation and selected for a National Ambassador for Young People’s Literature school visit last year. We are proud of Elizabeth's accomplishments and that she is a part of the SPS team!
